I realize it’s January and it’s c-o-l-d, but on this particular day it was sunny and nearly 45 degrees which meant jackets off for these two adventurers. The winter is such an interesting time to do a portrait session because the landscape is incredibly stark, the gray color palette is soothing, the sun is bright and clear, and there are fewer people around.
In this example, we went to the Old Stone Church in West Boylston, where we used the entire grounds as our playground.
Engagement shoots are so much fun when you put a little thought into them. Location, dress, interesting props that say something about you or your relationship are all important considerations as you begin to plan your session. It’s fabulous to go to a location that resonates with you or that has meaning, be it the first place you went on a date or the coffee shop you go to on Sunday mornings.
Congratulations Jessica and Ben! Stunning location choice!
